ABOUT
EdHu2050
MISSION & HISTORY.
EdHu2050 was founded by Dr. Delphine Le Serre — a former professor and researcher with a background in microelectronics, nanotechnologies, and a PhD in behavioral science — in response to the widening gap between the rapid rise of AI technologies and the limited awareness among education leaders.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she recognized that education systems were unprepared for the profound transformation AI would bring. EdHu2050 was created to help schools, universities, and governments navigate this transition with clarity and purpose.
In 2024, François Firmin joined the foundation as Vice President. A seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the education sector, he is the founder of Nomad Education, a high-impact company that has supported more than 6 million young learners, particularly in Africa, through innovative digital solutions.
Today, the foundation is known for its dual expertise in AI and education, its international conferences — including the annual HUMAN Education Summit (HUMAN.E.S.) — and its innovative pedagogical model, the MOON Framework, designed to develop the human skills essential for the age of AI.
